›Kick Ball - Đoản Văn của Bé Nguyên Vũ
Aug 27 2005
Kickball is my favorite game, the fun thing to do during this spring.
I could feel the wind moving through the air as my legs kicked the ball with full strength. It flew so fast like a shooting bullet that couldn’t stop. The dust swirled in my rotten shoes. Kicking the ball made me feel so powerful and strong. My amazing feet ran as fast as a wild cheetah, like soaring bird dodging the people who were trying to touch me with the bouncing ball. I ran so fast, so fast. I made a home run!
The next time I kicked the ball, it was a bad foul. I tried again. BOOM! The ball was shot to the field. The fastest kid tagged me a great out. We had three outs total. Our awesome team had to switch places. When we got to the outfield, I, the amazing pitcher rolled the ball at a confused victim, a girl who didn’t know how to play. She blocked the ball with her hands. Her team told her to hit the ball with her feet. I rolled the ball really fast as the girl almost hit a home run. I got the ball and chased the poor girl down the field to tag her. Closed to the home base, I finally tagged her. The next two people were too easy. I got them out quick. Our team won with a giant trophy. The best one ever! We got lots of the coolest candies ever. All the school children threw hard crackers up in the air. Adults picked us up on their shoulders and cheered. At the end, the great principal gave us a thousand dollars. The team got rich.
I’d like to play kickball at any day. It is always a fun thing to do. I learned that it was the teamwork that won the game.
